Disclaimer ~
The photos depicting Capt. Maraschiello or the items/scenes of Mike's prison were not taken by cell phone, but by the prison's own authorized camera for purposes such as inmates' "pre-paid" holiday photo projects and prison newspaper clips. As a Minimum Security inmate, Capt. Maraschiello is not housed in "Maximum Security" buildings because he has been classified as "non-violent" -- low-threat. His scores show that he meets Department of Correction security standards, classified Minimum ("disciplinary-free") and his "record" basically shows that for his entire time behind bars he has NEVER been involved in any violence or behavior that would make him anything else than a "Model Inmate". He has the privelege of having his pictures taken, which he has earned, and is appropriately depicted in them in a non-offensive manner. Also, some pictures were taken by free-world guests of R.M.S.I. -- with approval -- at prison-sponsored education graduation ceremonies promoting positive encouragement and programs fostering rehabilitation and re-entry initiatives.
